Packaging Developer (m|f|d)

Scope of Duties
- Packaging development for high quality cosmetic products for our licensed and own brands
- Compatible for filling in European and Asian locations - in-house and third party
- Categories: Innovation, New and existing product development, Sourcing/ Supply Chain optimisation, Quality improvements
Your Tasks
Packaging Development
- Independent management of projects for development and implementation in the area of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging
- Participation in international development teams for the introduction of new packaging materials/forms from the first idea to product roll-out
- Documentation and specifications of packaging materials according to technical, ecological and regulatory requirements
- Technical contact for purchasing, marketing, R&D, production, quality and packaging material suppliers from development to series production
Innovation and Sustainability
- Participation in innovation projects in cooperation with all relevant functions
- Participation in sustainability projects - via innovative formats/materials or optimisation of the current portfolio
- Market screening and analysis for new technologies, packaging materials, packaging trends and sustainability developments
Continuous Improvement
- Collaboration on the topic of Operational Excellence - optimisation of production processes
- Collaboration in root cause research for quality problems
- Participation in process and system optimisation
Your Profile
- Completed studies in the field of mechanical or industrial engineering or training as a technician in mechanical engineering, construction or materials
- Ideally, several years of professional experience in the development of plastic packaging and other materials or their production or processing
- Knowledge of filling machines is desirable
- Good project management skills and experience in leading interdisciplinary projects
- Independent, responsible and result-oriented way of working
- Good communication and social skills as well as an analytical mindset
- Very good computer skills in MS Office
- Basic knowledge of CAD
- Very good written and spoken German and English, other languages would be an advantage
