Head of Global Communications (m|f|d)
ADA Cosmetics International produces high-quality cosmetic products for the international 3- to 5-star hotel industry. Our portfolio includes exclusive luxury brands, trendy lifestyle concepts, wellness-oriented care lines and certified natural cosmetics - and we are always coming up with new ideas. With 600 employees worldwide, we develop creative ideas, translate them into marketable concepts and set trends far beyond the hotel bathroom.
Mission
- Responsibility for all global ADA corporate & brand communications across off- and online media
- Own the ADA corporate website, all social media channels and the company’s presence at industry events, fairs and exhibitions
- Planning of the global multi-channel communication strategy, planning of the annual content calendar and its daily execution to ensure an “always-on” media presence
- Lead the central global communications team as well as regional/local resources
- Creation, development and production of all corporate creative assets and media content
- Maintaining an excellent relationship with external partners, from advertising, media and PR agencies to publishers, journalists, influencers, and community leaders
- Coordination with various internal stakeholders across hierarchies and regions – Management Board, Global Brand Management and Regional/Local Country Leaders
- Budget responsibility for global asset and content production, classical and digital media plans as well as brand and corporate communication programs
Skills
- University degree with a focus on economics and/or communication studies
- 7+ years professional experience in brand management and communications, ideally in the beauty and/or hotel industry
- Proven leadership skills with track record in global and regional/local roles
- Passionate communicator who can become the spokesperson and ambassador for the company alongside the management board
- In depth digital skills around web site architecture, social media infrastructure and digital marketing
- Strong skillset in visual creation, graphic design, layout, publishing coupled with impeccable copywriting and copy-editing skills (English and/or German)
- Passion for brands and brand building, translating consumer insights into relevant communication strategies and executions
- Agility to interact with internal and external partners across hierarchies and cultures
- High self-motivation, results-oriented “can-do” attitude. Entrepreneurial “hands-on” mentality that is the prerequisite for personal success in a mid-sized, highly agile company
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and German, further language skills are a plus
- Minimum 3 days/week presence at our Head Office in Kehl near Strasbourg, Germany/France
